Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The Ceal user package for npm-supported platforms. It installs the platform-specific signed ceal client and the ceal-host lifecycle launcher. It does not install the administrator-only cealctl client.

Install globally with npm install -g @corca-org/ceal. Use npm update -g @corca-org/ceal to update and npm uninstall -g @corca-org/ceal to remove it. On macOS and Linux, diagnose an older ceal shadowing the npm installation by invoking the installed package directly first:

ceal version
ceal doctor
ceal-host version

ceal doctor is read-only. Its command_resolution derives the expected ceal and ceal-host commands from the installed package identity and reports an earlier PATH shadow even when launcher environment variables are absent, on Unix and Windows.
