Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

paseo-worktreeinclude

A Paseo plugin that copies gitignored files listed in .worktreeinclude into new git worktrees, the same way Claude Code does.

When a workspace is created in a linked git worktree, the plugin reads .worktreeinclude (gitignore syntax) from the main checkout and copies every file that matches it and is gitignored. Tracked files are never touched, and files already present in the worktree are not overwritten. Copies use copy-on-write cloning (APFS, btrfs) when available.

Install

Requires Paseo 0.10.3 or later.

paseo plugin install npm:@cprecioso/paseo-worktreeinclude

Caveat

The copy runs on Paseo's workspace.created event, which does not block agent startup. An agent that reads these files immediately may race the copy. If that matters, use a worktree.setup step in paseo.json instead.
