Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@cyberred/mcp-protocol

两个 MCP 入口（本地 stdio @cyberred/mcp-local、托管 Remote MCP @cyberred/mcp-remote）共用的 协议接线：createMcpServer() 把 @cyberred/sdk/mcp 的工具面与调用执行挂到 MCP 低层 Server 上（只挂 tools/list / tools/call），不含 transport。

它是仓库里唯一依赖 @modelcontextprotocol/sdk 的 @cyberred/* 包。工具面派生、请求绑定、 调用执行、UUIDv7 幂等键这些纯函数都在 @cyberred/sdk（子路径 @cyberred/sdk/mcp）， CLI 也从那里拿 —— 所以 CLI 的依赖闭包里没有本包、也没有 MCP SDK（packages/cli/test/dependency-closure.test.ts 钉住）。

谁能依赖它

只有 mcp-local 与 mcp-remote，由 tools/dep-boundaries/policy.json 按包级边逐条登记； cli 依赖它即违规。本包本身只允许依赖 @cyberred/sdk（闭包内禁 DB 驱动、云 KMS、workload identity）。

安全前提由调用方保证

  • stdio：先装好 stdout 守卫（mcp-local 的 guard.ts），且守卫早于 MCP SDK 求值。
  • Remote：每个入站请求新建一个 Server，凭据随闭包一起丢弃。
