Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

MCP server for DadSEO's Strategic SEO Intelligence API — audits, competitor analysis, topic research, keyword tracking, and more, callable directly from your coding agent.

Recommended: one-line install (Claude Code)

curl -fsSL https://getdadseo.com/install.sh | bash

Registers DadSEO as a hosted MCP server against https://mcp.getdadseo.com — no local install, no Node.js required, and you're always on the latest server version. You'll need an existing DadSEO account and an API key (grab one at getdadseo.com/settings) if you don't already have one.

Manual: run it locally (stdio)

If you'd rather run the server as a local process instead of using the hosted endpoint:

claude mcp add dadseo -e DADSEO_API_KEY=<your key> -e TRANSPORT=stdio -- npx -y @dadseo/mcp-server

This runs dadseo-mcp-server via npx on your machine in stdio mode. Get your key at getdadseo.com/settings.

What you get

20+ tools covering full-site audits, technical SEO, schema markup, sitemap and hreflang checks, competitor research, topic/keyword research, GSC-backed reporting, and action-plan management — the same tools available through the DadSEO dashboard, callable from your coding agent. Every call is authenticated with your API key and counts against your normal DadSEO plan/credit limits.
