Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Express API Starter using ES6

This repository is forked from express-api-starter

Includes API Server utilities:

  • morgan
    • HTTP request logger middleware for node.js
  • helmet
    • Helmet helps you secure your Express apps by setting various HTTP headers. It's not a silver bullet, but it can help!
  • dotenv
    • Dotenv is a zero-dependency module that loads environment variables from a .env file into process.env

Development utilities:

  • nodemon
    • nodemon is a tool that helps develop node.js based applications by automatically restarting the node application when file changes in the directory are detected.
  • eslint
    • ESLint is a tool for identifying and reporting on patterns found in ECMAScript/JavaScript code.
