n8n-nodes-opencc

A private n8n custom node for fast, local Chinese text conversion between Simplified, Traditional, and regional variants using opencc-js. No external API required.

Installation

Clone this repo and link it to your n8n instance:

git clone https://github.com/deepsrt/n8n-nodes-opencc.git
cd n8n-nodes-opencc
npm install
npm run build
npm link
# Then in your n8n project directory:
npm link n8n-nodes-opencc

Usage

1. In n8n, add the OpenCC node to your workflow.
2. Set the Text parameter to the Chinese text you want to convert (can use expressions).
3. Choose the Conversion type:
   • Simplified to Traditional
   • Traditional to Simplified
   • TW to CN
   • CN to TW
4. The output will be available as result in the node output.
