DevMind MCP Server
Model Context Protocol server that exposes DevMind's review, security, knowledge-base, and chat capabilities to any MCP client — Cursor, Claude Desktop, Continue, Cline, VS Code Copilot Chat, etc.
What it gives the LLM
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| devmind_search_kb | Semantic search across the repo's indexed code chunks, MR history, security findings, and docs |
| devmind_review_diff | AI code review on a unified diff (no MR record created) — score, grade, per-issue findings |
| devmind_security_scan | SAST + secret + OWASP scan on a unified diff |
| devmind_get_mr | Fetch the DevMind review for a specific MR (score, summary, issues, links) |
| devmind_list_mrs | List recent MRs filtered by status / repo / author / title text |
| devmind_chat | Ask DevMind's AI a natural-language question with full repo context |
The clear win over native Cursor/Claude tooling: DevMind has indexed YOUR codebase in Qdrant plus historical review feedback, so its answers reference real prior decisions in the repo.

MCP is the protocol Anthropic + the major IDE vendors agreed on for tool exposure. One server reaches every conformant client without per-vendor packaging. As Cursor / Claude Desktop / Continue / VS Code Copilot Chat all converge on MCP, this is the cheapest distribution channel.
