Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@dfactory/cli

Purpose

@dfactory/cli provides the operational command surface for dFactory runtime workflows.

Supported commands: dev, build, serve, index, doctor.

Usage

dfactory dev --config dfactory.config.ts
dfactory build
dfactory serve --config dfactory.config.ts
dfactory index --output .dfactory/templates.index.json
dfactory doctor

Within this monorepo:

pnpm dev

Development

pnpm --filter @dfactory/cli typecheck
pnpm --filter @dfactory/cli test
pnpm --filter @dfactory/cli build

When changing CLI options, update docs and API/operator instructions in same PR.

Troubleshooting

  • UI port already in use: pass --ui-port on dev.
  • serve mode missing UI: ensure dfactory build generated .dfactory/ui.
  • doctor Playwright failures: install system/browser dependencies.
