Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Plugin that adds a router context with set of directives to control it.

Install

From NPM

Install the package from NPM, then import and enable the library in your build.

npm i @doars/doars @doars/doars-router
// Import library.
import Doars from '@doars/doars'
import DoarsRouter from '@doars/doars-router'

// Setup a library instance.
const doars = new Doars()

// Setup the plugin.
const doarsRouter = DoarsRouter(doars /*, options */)

// Enable library.
doars.enable()

IIFE build from jsDelivr

Add the IIFE build to the page from for example the jsDelivr CDN and enable the library.

<!-- Import library. -->
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@doars/doars@3/dst/doars.iife.js"></script>
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@doars/doars-router@3/dst/doars-router.iife.js"></script>
<script type="application/javascript">
  document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', () => {
    // Setup a library instance.
    const doars = new window.Doars()

    // Setup the plugin.
    const doarsRouter = window.DoarsRouter(doars /*, options */)

    // Enable library.
    doars.enable()
  })
</script>

ESM and IIFE builds are available via the jsDelivr CDN.

Directives

The following directives are added by the plugin.

d-route

Define a new route, which will automatically be added to the closest router in the document. The directive's value should be the path of the route to set active.

Examples

<div d-route="/user/me/">
  <!-- Route content -->
</div>
<template d-route="/user/me/">
  <!-- Route content -->
</template>

d-router

Define an new router, which will manage all routes directly below it in the document. The directive's value can optionally be a function expression returning an object in the for of router options. The returned options will override the default options given to the plugin.

Examples

<div d-router>
  <!-- Routes and other content -->
</div>
<div d-router="{ /* options */ }">
  <!-- Routes and other content -->
</div>

d-route-to

Navigate to the specified route when the user clicks on or in the element with this directive. The directive's value should be the path to navigate to.

Modifiers

  • {boolean} prevent = false Whether to call preventDefault on the event invoking the route change.
  • {boolean} self = false Whether the target of the event invoking the route change must be the directive's element itself and not an underlying element.
  • {boolean} stop = false Whether to call stopPropagation on the event invoking the route change.

Examples

<button d-route-to="/user/me/">
  Go to me
</button>
<button d-route-to.prevent.stop="/user/me/">
  Go to me
</button>

Contexts

The following contexts are added by the plugin.

$router

Access the closest Router instance. The closest router is retrieved by going up in the document tree looking for a d-router directive.

Examples

<button d-on:click="$router.setPath('/user/me/')">
  Go to me
</button>
