@dongsa/hangeul

Dependency-free Hangul syllable decomposition, composition, validation, and irregular-conjugation markers. MIT licensed. Written in TypeScript for Deno and npm.

Install with deno add jsr:@dongsa/hangeul or npm install @dongsa/hangeul. The npm package includes JavaScript and TypeScript declarations. No dictionary or conjugation code is loaded by this package.

selectVowelToAppend(stem) returns the selected ending (아/어), deciding syllable and vowel when present, the selection rule, and skippedEu count. findVowelToAppend(stem) returns only the ending. Both use the same selection rules, so a conjugation trace can explain the actual choice.
