Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Autonomous AI agent CLI for software development - install once, use on any project

Readme

Doyaken

A standalone multi-project autonomous agent CLI that works with any AI coding agent. Install once, use on any project.

Aliases: doyaken, dk

Why Doyaken?

  • One install, all projects - Global installation works across all your repos
  • Any AI agent - Claude, Codex, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, or OpenCode
  • Batteries included - 40+ skills, 25+ prompts, 8-phase workflow out of the box
  • Zero config - Works immediately after dk init

Key Features

Multi-Agent Configuration Sync

Automatically generates and syncs configuration files for all major AI coding agents:

dk sync # Generates all agent files from single source of truth

| Generated File | Agent/Tool | |---------------|------------| | AGENTS.md | Codex, OpenCode (industry standard) | | CLAUDE.md | Claude Code | | .cursorrules | Cursor (legacy) | | .cursor/rules/*.mdc | Cursor (modern rules) | | GEMINI.md | Google Gemini | | .github/copilot-instructions.md | GitHub Copilot | | .opencode.json | OpenCode |

All files point to .doyaken/ as the single source of truth. Edit once, sync everywhere.

Prompt Library (25+ Methodologies)

Battle-tested prompts for common development tasks:

| Category | Prompts | |----------|---------| | Code Quality | quality, refactor, debugging, errors | | Reviews | review-architecture, review-security, review-debt, review-performance | | Planning | planning, diagnose, research-features, research-competitors | | Development | api-rest, ci, git, docs |

# Use as slash commands in Claude Code
/quality # Apply quality methodology
/debugging # Debug current issue
/planning # Create implementation plan

Vendor-Specific Prompts

Pre-configured prompts for popular frameworks and services:

  • Frameworks: Next.js, Rails, React
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Supabase
  • Platforms: Vercel, DigitalOcean, Dokku
  • Tools: GitHub Actions, Figma

8-Phase Workflow

Structured task execution with configurable timeouts:

EXPAND → TRIAGE → PLAN → IMPLEMENT → TEST → DOCS → REVIEW → VERIFY

Each phase has dedicated prompts in .doyaken/prompts/phases/ that guide the agent through systematic task completion.

Skills System (40+ Built-in)

Reusable, composable skills with MCP integration:

dk skills # List all skills
dk skill periodic-review # Run comprehensive codebase review
dk skill audit-security # OWASP-based security audit
