Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@easyai101/easyserver-plugin-vastai

First-party Vast.ai Provider Plugin for EasyServer. It owns Vast.ai marketplace search/rental and adapts rented machines to EasyServer's shared lifecycle and connection contracts.

Install

Install EasyServer and this plugin into the same npm environment:

npm install --global @easyai101/easyserver @easyai101/easyserver-plugin-vastai
easyserver

Then open Settings & Support → Providers → Add installed provider and choose Vast.ai.

For CLI/automation setup:

easyserver plugins add @easyai101/easyserver-plugin-vastai

The provider requires a Vast.ai API key and account-level SSH preparation for SSH-backed rentals.

Compatibility

This plugin is installed and versioned independently from EasyServer. Its runtime manifest and npm dependency ranges declare which EasyServer/Plugin SDK compatibility lines it accepts.

The 0.3.0 plugin consumes @easyai101/easyserver-plugin-sdk through the compatible published ^0.2.0 package contract; it does not depend on EasyServer repository source paths.

Development

Requires Node.js 24.18.1 and npm 11.16.0.

npm run release:check runs the repository's local release gate. Publishing a new npm version is a separate explicit release action; a GitHub release tag is accepted only after that exact package version is already public on npm.
