Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@elftia/presentation-contracts

v1.0.0

Published

Versioned Semantic Slot, Deck IR, stable-ID, and minimal provenance-reference contracts shared by Elftia presentation producers.

Readme

@elftia/presentation-contracts

Public, producer-neutral contracts for Elftia presentation authoring and materialization. This package is the single source for Deck IR v1, Semantic Slot v1, stable presentation identities, minimal asset/provenance/decision references, and their conformance goldens.

The package does not emit PPTX, discover templates, or make license decisions. In the absence of a verified decisionRef, licenseStatus must remain not_evaluated.

Public seam

  • parseDeckIr, parseSemanticSlotSet, and parseTemplateContract validate untrusted data and reject unknown schema versions.
  • createStableDeckId, createStableSlideId, and createStableObjectId derive deterministic identities from semantic keys. Array indexes are rejected. User-created objects use createPersistentPresentationId; clones use clonePresentationId and retain clonedFrom.
  • migrateDeckIr and migrateSemanticSlotSet are explicit migration registries. Version 1 has only the identity migration; no unknown version is guessed or silently coerced.

Stable-ID algorithm

elftia.presentation-id.v1 frames the kind and every NFKC-normalized UTF-8 input as <byte-length>:<value>, joins the frames with |, computes SHA-256, and uses the first 128 bits as <kind>_<32 lowercase hex>. fixtures/v1/stable-id-vectors.json is normative for every language implementation.

Run npm run build --prefix packages/presentation-contracts to regenerate JSON Schemas, goldens, their byte-level SHA-256 manifest, and the publishable JS/type bundles.

The ownership/versioning decision is recorded in docs/design/presentation-contracts-owner-adr.md. From the Host repository, npm run check:presentation-contracts builds this package and verifies that the Design Studio TypeScript consumer and document-skills Python consumer interpret the same published artifacts, stable-ID vectors, Deck IR content hash, versions, and license status identically.
