Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@embody/mcp

Model Context Protocol catalog generation and Streamable HTTP server adapter for Embody gateways.

npm install @embody/mcp

Requires Node.js 22 or 24 and uses ESM.

The package exports:

  • createMcpCatalog: converts authorized Embody action manifests into collision-checked MCP tools.
  • McpHttpHandler: stateful Streamable HTTP handling with session identity and app-scope pinning.
  • mcpTargetName, mcpResult, and mcpError: stable protocol mapping helpers.

Most application authors do not instantiate this package directly. @embody/gateway mounts global /mcp and app-scoped /mcp/:appId endpoints using it. Desktop clients that require stdio can use:

npx -y @embody/cli mcp --url https://gateway.example.com/mcp --token "$EMBODY_TOKEN"
