Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

💻 Usage

Basic Setup

Import the design system in your main CSS file:

@import '../../node_modules/@empathyco/x-design-system/dist/index.css';

This will include all components, theme, and utility variants with the xds: prefix.

Using Components

Apply design system classes using the xds: prefix:

Color Palette

The design system provides a comprehensive color system:

  • Neutral: neutral-0 to neutral-100 (grays and whites)
  • Lead: lead-25, lead-50, lead-75
  • Auxiliary: auxiliary-25, auxiliary-50, auxiliary-75
  • Accent: accent-25, accent-50, accent-75
  • Highlight: highlight-25, highlight-50, highlight-75
  • Semantic Colors: success, warning, error

Border Radius

  • none, xs (2px), sm (4px), md (8px), lg (16px), xl (32px), full

Spacing & Typography

Custom spacing, font sizes, line heights, and font families are defined in the theme.
