Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

n8n-nodes-google-notebooklm

This is an n8n community node for Google NotebookLM Enterprise. It allows you to interact with Google's AI-powered research tool in your n8n workflows using the official NotebookLM Enterprise API.

Google NotebookLM is an AI-powered research tool that helps you explore topics, organize information, and generate insights from your notes and documents.

Installation

Operations

This node supports the following operations:

Create a Notebook

Create a new NotebookLM notebook with a specified title.

Get a Notebook

Retrieve a specific notebook by its ID.

Get All Notebooks

List all recently viewed notebooks in your project.

Delete Notebooks

Delete one or more notebooks by their IDs.

Share a Notebook

Share a notebook with other users by specifying their email addresses and permission levels.

Credentials

To use the Google NotebookLM node, you need to authenticate with Google Cloud. You'll need:

  1. A Google Cloud project with NotebookLM Enterprise enabled
  2. An API key with appropriate permissions
  3. Your Google Cloud project number
  4. The location/multi-region for your API requests (US, EU, or Global)

Getting Your API Key

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console
  2. Select your project
  3. Navigate to "APIs & Services" > "Credentials"
  4. Click "Create Credentials" > "API Key"
  5. Copy the generated API key

Finding Your Project Number

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Console
  2. Select your project
  3. The project number is displayed in the project dashboard

Selecting Your Location

Choose the appropriate location based on your data residency requirements:

  • US: For data stored in the United States
  • EU: For data stored in the European Union
  • Global: For global access

Compatibility

This node has been tested with:

  • n8n version 1.0 and above
  • Node.js version 18.10 and above
