Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@eonium/compass-migrate

v0.1.0

Published

Portability migration scaffold generator for FlutterFlow-to-Flutter compatibility placeholders.

Readme

@eonium/compass-migrate

Portability Migrate owns the initial FlutterFlow-to-Flutter Portability migration scaffold.

It creates placeholder files under .eonium/compass/portability/migrations/flutterflow_to_flutter/ so a target repo can record provider-coupling risks, compatibility planning notes and migration-readiness status without implying that Eonium has already implemented an automatic migration engine.

Generated files

This package currently creates:

  • status.json - structured placeholder status for the FlutterFlow-to-Flutter Portability migration surface.
  • provider-coupling.md - notes for verified provider coupling such as Firebase, auth, storage, API, custom-action and generated FlutterFlow assumptions.
  • compatibility-plan.md - notes for compatibility planning before future Create specs, plans, overlays, validation evidence or finalization records are produced.

Write behaviour

initCompassMigrate() uses the shared @eonium/compass-core scaffold writer.

The initializer:

  • defaults to dry-run when no write mode is supplied;
  • writes only when dryRun: false or mode: "write" is supplied;
  • preserves existing files by default;
  • updates existing scaffold targets only when force: true is supplied;
  • reports created, updated, skipped, errored, warnings and errors through the shared Compass change report shape.

Relationship to other Compass surfaces

Portability records migration-readiness, provider-coupling and compatibility planning notes.

Create remains the future place for bounded specs, plans, runs, overlays, validation evidence and finalization records once implementation work is approved.

Sherpa remains the durable repo truth surface for frontend, business and backend knowledge. Do not use this package's placeholders as a replacement for Sherpa.

FF Migrator remains the FlutterFlow-specific migration cockpit for source archaeology, prompt packs, migration graphs, progress logs and step execution instructions.

Non-goals

This package does not parse FlutterFlow exports, rewrite providers, generate Flutter app code, compare screenshots, call AI providers, run prompt packs, host agents, perform automatic migration, execute Create workflows or make compatibility decisions.

It is a safe scaffold generator for Portability placeholders only. Full Portability migration engines remain deferred.
