Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

You can install the package via npm:

npm install @esmalley/react-material-ui

Note: Ensure you have react and react-dom (v19+) installed as peer dependencies.

Building from Source

If you want to build the library yourself, you can use the provided build script:

npm run build

This process uses esbuild to generate both ESM and CJS bundles.

Working on this project

This is indended to be worked on in tandum with react-material-ui-docs. The docs page will be the place to test and develop new feature for this package.

Assuming both repo are installed and set up, to link them and develop do this:

The application will be available at http://localhost:3002.
