Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@ethoko/cli-beacon

This package contains the source code for the CLI commands and core logic, and is published to npm as @ethoko/cli-beacon. This package can be executed in Node.js environments using npx @ethoko/cli-beacon ..., which is especially useful for development and testing purposes.

This package serves as a beacon for the generated @ethoko/cli package, which is a thin wrapper that resolves the correct platform-specific binary. The @ethoko/cli package is generated at publish time by the script packages/cli-beacon/scripts/publish-cli.ts and is not committed to the repository. See the CLI Delivery Strategy documentation for more details on the relationship between these packages and the overall distribution strategy.
