Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Command-line interface for Extend.

Install

npx @extend-ai/cli --help

For permanent install:

npm install -g @extend-ai/cli
extend --help

How it works

This package is a thin wrapper that resolves to a platform-specific binary shipped in a sibling package (@extend-ai/cli-darwin-arm64, @extend-ai/cli-linux-x64, etc.). npm's os and cpu filters install only the binary matching your machine.

After install, a postinstall step copies the native binary over a placeholder so extend execs directly without a Node.js process in the path.

If you install with --ignore-scripts or --omit=optional, the postinstall won't run. In that case, invoke the fallback launcher:

node node_modules/@extend-ai/cli/cli-wrapper.cjs --help
