Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Pi Dispatcher

A Pi extension for dispatching bounded scout tasks to interactive agents running in Herdr.

Requirements

  • Pi 0.84 or newer
  • Herdr on PATH
  • Pi running inside a Herdr-managed pane
  • The worker CLIs you intend to use (pi, claude, codex, agy, or opencode)

Install

pi install npm:@farhanmansuri/pi-dispatcher

For local development:

pi install /path/to/pi-dispatcher

Use

Enable lead-only orchestration with /orchestrator on or start Pi with --orchestrator.

Available tools:

  • dispatcher_dispatch
  • dispatcher_status
  • dispatcher_report
  • dispatcher_approval

Use /close <task_id> or /close all after reports are verified. Closing archives the task in the widget while preserving its report and status in ~/.crew. Set CREW_DIR to use another record location.

This package only provides the dispatcher. Obsidian, SecondBrain, and /stow are not included.
