Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Searchia search and chat widget with streaming API and local demo adapters

Readme

Searchia Agent

Searchia's embeddable AI search and chat widget, with a streaming API client, Persian and English interfaces, Markdown, and product result cards.

Install

Organization package:

npm install @fateme_rjn/agent

JavaScript

<div id="searchia"></div>
import SearchiaChat from '@fateme_rjn/agent';
import '@fateme_rjn/agent/style.css';

SearchiaChat.init({
  container: '#searchia',
  locale: 'fa',
  showSearch: true,
  showChatTrigger: true,
  agentId: 'YOUR_AGENT_ID',
  api: {
    baseUrl: 'https://api.example.com',
    apiKey: 'YOUR_WIDGET_API_KEY',
    applicationId: 'YOUR_APPLICATION_ID',
  },
});

Use connection settings issued for your website. baseUrl is the API base URL; the widget appends /widget/agent-studio/agents/{agentId}/completions. The API must allow your site's origin and the X-Searchia-Api-Key and X-Searchia-Application-Id headers. Browser connection values are visible to visitors; use a browser widget key.

React and Next.js

React 18 or later is required only for the React wrapper. Keep options stable across renders. Import the stylesheet once in the application entry point or Next.js root layout.

'use client';
import { SearchiaWidget } from '@fateme_rjn/agent/react';

const options = {
  locale: 'fa',
  showSearch: true,
  showChatTrigger: true,
  agentId: 'YOUR_AGENT_ID',
  api: {
    baseUrl: 'https://api.example.com',
    apiKey: 'YOUR_WIDGET_API_KEY',
    applicationId: 'YOUR_APPLICATION_ID',
  },
};

export default function Assistant() {
  return <SearchiaWidget options={options} />;
}

The wrapper mounts the widget after the DOM is ready and cleans it up on unmount. JavaScript and standalone installations bundle their UI runtime.

Controls

SearchiaChat.open('#searchia');
SearchiaChat.openSearch('#searchia');
await SearchiaChat.ask('شرایط ارسال چیست؟', '#searchia');
SearchiaChat.setLocale('en', '#searchia');
SearchiaChat.destroy('#searchia');

Call controls after initialization has rendered. Configure title, buttonText, placeholder, welcomeTitle, welcomeMessage, and customSuggestedQuestions to match your site. triggerPosition accepts fixed or inline; darkMode can override the site's theme.

Without api or a custom adapter, the widget runs a local demo. A custom adapter takes precedence over api. Each mounted widget owns its conversation; search and chat within one mount share it.
