EasyStart CLI

A minimal, configuration-driven command line tool to generate feature-based file structures for Express applications.

Overview

EasyStart CLI helps developers scaffold consistent project structures using a simple configuration file. It focuses on flexibility, clarity, and speed without enforcing any specific architecture.

Installation

Using npx

npx @fayaz/easystart-cli feature user

Global installation

npm install -g @fayaz/easystart-cli

Initialize Project

Run the init command inside your project root:

easystart-cli init

This creates:

cli.config.json
_templates/

Example structure:

project/
  cli.config.json
  _templates/

Usage

easystart-cli feature <name>

Example

easystart-cli feature user

Options

Configuration

Create a file named cli.config.json in the root of your project.
