Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Design tokens for FE Design Systems.

This package contains the shared design tokens used across FE Design Systems packages.

Installation

npm install @fe-design-systems/tokens

Usage

import { primitiveTokens, semanticTokens } from "@fe-design-systems/tokens";

console.log(primitiveTokens.color.blue500);
console.log(semanticTokens.colorPrimary);

Token Structure

The package provides two token layers:

Primitive Tokens

Primitive tokens contain the base values of the design system, such as colors, spacing, and border radius.

primitiveTokens.color;
primitiveTokens.spacing;
primitiveTokens.radius;

Semantic Tokens

Semantic tokens describe how those values are used within the design system.

semanticTokens.colorPrimary;
semanticTokens.colorText;
semanticTokens.colorBorder;
semanticTokens.colorError;

Framework Support

The tokens package is framework-agnostic and is intended to be shared across different UI implementations.

Current consumers:
