Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

React checkout widget for accepting Firma stablecoin payments on the web

Readme

@firma/pay

Drop-in React checkout for accepting Firma stablecoin payments (USD, CHF, EUR) on any website. Zero transaction fees, real-time settlement, no chargebacks.

npm: @firma/pay · Documentation: pay.firma.cash

Install

pnpm add @firma/pay
npm install @firma/pay
yarn add @firma/pay

Quick start

Import the stylesheet once, then render the checkout widget:

import '@firma/pay/firma-pay.css';
import { PayWithFirma } from '@firma/pay';

<PayWithFirma
  receiverUsername="merchant"
  orderId="VP9G"
  amount="10.00"
  currency="USD"
  onPaymentFinalized={(txid) => {
    console.log('Paid!', txid);
  }}
/>

receiverUsername can be any valid ecash: address or your Firma username (with or without @).

Next.js (App Router)

Keep PayWithFirma in a 'use client' component and import the stylesheet:

'use client';

import '@firma/pay/firma-pay.css';
import { PayWithFirma } from '@firma/pay';

If you consume @firma/pay from a monorepo workspace package, add transpilePackages: ['@firma/pay'] in next.config.ts.

See pay.firma.cash for the full integration guide, API reference, and live demo.

Changelog

0.0.6

  • Match third-party invoices when FIRMA sent to the receiver is at least the invoice amount. Self-sends (every FIRMA token input and output is the same address) require at least one output of exactly the invoice amount, so leftover change is not treated as payment.

0.0.5

  • Treat an invoice as paid when FIRMA received at the receiver is at least the invoice amount (overpayment counts). This also confirms self-sends, where leftover tokens return to the same address.

0.0.4

  • USD invoices and payment watching now use FIRMA instead of legacy SRO. Required after the Firma app SRO migrate cutover; current app builds reject SRO BIP21 send links.

0.0.3

  • Upgrade ecash-lib to 4.13.0. Next.js integrations no longer need extra webpack configuration.

0.0.2

  • Removed the showTagline prop and built-in promotional tagline. The widget is now just the checkout button and payment flow; add your own copy around it if needed.

0.0.1

  • Initial release.
