Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bug Reporter

Turn a confusing problem into a clear report that someone can reproduce and fix.

Helpful when

  • An app behaves differently from what you expected.
  • A test fails or a feature stopped working.
  • You need to report a problem to a maintainer or teammate.

What to share with Pi

  • What you did and what you expected
  • What actually happened
  • Screenshots, error messages, logs, or a small example when available

Try asking

Turn this problem into a useful bug report. Include simple reproduction steps, expected and actual behavior, evidence, and likely cause.

What you’ll get

  • A clear title and severity
  • Repeatable steps and supporting evidence
  • Environment, likely-cause analysis, and any known workaround

Keep in mind

The report will separate confirmed facts from guesses. If the problem cannot be reproduced, that uncertainty will remain visible.
