Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@flashsms/sdk

v0.1.0

Published

Official FlashSMS API client (v2) by Codeslaw Global Technologies

Readme

@flashsms/sdk

Official FlashSMS API client by Codeslaw Global Technologies.

  • Prepaid: FlashsmsClient/api/v2 (requires bms_live_* v2 API key)
  • Enterprise: EnterpriseClient/api/enterprise (requires ent_live_* key)

All sendMessage / sendSms calls are live SMS billed to your credits. Use testConnection() / getBalance() to verify your key without sending SMS.

Install

npm install @flashsms/sdk

Quickstart

import { FlashsmsClient } from '@flashsms/sdk';

const client = new FlashsmsClient({
  apiKey: process.env.FLASHSMS_API_KEY!, // bms_live_... (v2 key)
});

// No SMS sent
const { data: balance } = await client.testConnection();
console.log('Credits:', balance.total);

// Live SMS — charges credits
const { data: sent } = await client.sendMessage({
  message: 'Hello from FlashSMS',
  phones: ['0201234567'],
  senderId: 'YourBrand',
});

Environment

| Variable | Description | | ------------------ | -------------------------- | | FLASHSMS_API_KEY | Prepaid key (bms_live_*) |

API v1

New v1 keys are no longer issued. Existing v1 keys continue to work on /api/v1 via REST; this SDK is v2 only.

Publishing (maintainers)

Package: @flashsms/sdk under the flashsms npm org.

One-time setup

  1. Add a GitHub Actions secret NPM_TOKEN (granular npm automation/publish token) at
    https://github.com/skaduteye/bms.codeslaw/settings/secrets/actions
  2. Ensure your team (developers or flashsms) can publish scoped packages under the flashsms org.
  3. (Optional, preferred later) On npmjs.com → flashsms org → add a Trusted Publisher for @flashsms/sdk:
    • Repository: skaduteye/bms.codeslaw
    • Workflow: publish-sdk.yml
    • Environment: (leave empty)

Local dry-run / emergency publish

npm run sdk:release          # build + test + npm publish --dry-run
npm run sdk:publish # same, but real publish (clean tree + npm login)

CI publish

After merging to dev, either:

  • Push tag sdk-v0.1.0 (must match version in package.json), or
  • Actions → Publish SDK → Run workflow (optional version input must match package.json).

The workflow runs tests, builds dist/, and publishes with --provenance via GitHub OIDC.
