Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Terminal-native ForgeaX single-agent runtime: agent loop, tools, MCP, permissions, Ink TUI.

Install

npm install -g @forgeax/cli
# requires Node.js 18+

Global commands: forgeax and forgeax-cli (alias).

Update

forgeax update          # install @forgeax/cli@latest from npm
forgeax update --check  # report only; do not install

Requires a global npm install. Monorepo / project-local checkouts are refused with a manual hint.

Quick start

cd my-project
forgeax
forgeax -p "帮我优化这个函数"
forgeax --demo -p "hi"   # no API key

Set a provider key before non-demo runs (for example ANTHROPIC_API_KEY).

Monorepo note

Inside forgeax-os this package lives at packages/cli. Studio kernel id remains forgeax-core (env / registry), independent of the npm name @forgeax/cli.
