Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Speaker diarization extension pack for AgentOS voice pipeline — provider delegation and local clustering

Readme

Diarization

This pack registers a speaker diarization engine for the AgentOS voice pipeline. It uses local audio feature extraction and cosine similarity, or consumes speaker labels from speech-to-text transcript events.

Installation

npm install @framers/agentos-ext-diarization

Peer dependencies: @framers/agentos (>=0.10.40) and optional onnxruntime-node (^1.18.0).

Usage

import { AgentOS } from '@framers/agentos';

const agentos = await AgentOS.create({
  extensionManifest: {
    packs: [{ package: '@framers/agentos-ext-diarization' }],
  },
});

Configuration

The pack factory ignores its context. These settings belong to the engine's startSession method. It reads no secrets or environment variables.

| Option | Secret id | Environment variable | Required | Default | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | backend | None | None | No | local | | similarityThreshold | None | None | No | 0.7 | | chunkSizeMs | None | None | No | 1500 milliseconds | | overlapMs | None | None | No | 500 milliseconds | | sampleRate | None | None | No | 16000 Hz | | expectedSpeakers | None | None | No | Unset; declared but not read by startSession |

The exported ClusteringStrategy accepts mergeThreshold, defaulting to 0.85, and its mergeClusters method accepts optional expectedSpeakers. Sessions do not invoke this strategy.

Notes

Local sessions accept PCM samples in Float32Array frames through pushAudio, emit speaker_identified, and label transcripts with the most recently identified speaker. enrollSpeaker registers a reference voiceprint and overwrites an existing voiceprint with the same identifier. Local feature extraction is a placeholder for demos and testing. It uses no ONNX model. Local transcript end times are estimated from text length, and confidence is fixed.

Provider sessions ignore audio and enrollment calls. labelTranscript selects the most frequent word-level speaker label and returns null when labels are absent. Both backends emit segment_ready for a labelled transcript.

The overlap must produce fewer samples than the chunk size, or session creation throws a RangeError. The extractor uses the configured sample rate without resampling incoming frames. close stops local processing, clears listeners, and causes subsequent audio and transcript inputs to be ignored.
