Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

GalaChain Connect is a library that provides developers with capabilities comparable to ethers.js, allowing users to connect to and interact with GalaChain using wallets such as MetaMask.

Installation

To install Gala Connect, run:

npm install @gala-chain/connect

Building

Run the following command to build the library:

nx build chain-connect

Running Unit Tests

To execute the unit tests via Jest, run:

nx test chain-connect

The Examples Documentation provides detailed examples on how to use GalaChain Connect, including:

  • Connecting to a Web3 wallet and interacting with GalaChain on the client side.
  • Performing server-side signing and interactions using a private key.

Local Library Testing

To test the library locally in another project:

  1. Build the library:

    nx build chain-connect
  2. Link the library:

    npm link
  3. In your project where you want to test the library, link it:

    npm link @gala-chain/connect
