Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Interactive Sandbox and CLI for Flutter-like React Components styled with Tailwind CSS

Readme

React-Flutter Components CLI ⚡

A high-fidelity developer component toolkit and CLI replicating Flutter's visual widgets, material structure, and layout systems (like Container, Card, Row, Column, Flexible, CircularProgressIndicator, Skeleton) in React using Tailwind CSS.

Inspired by the workflow of shadcn/ui, this CLI allows you to directly initialize your workspace and recursively add components to your source tree without bloating your node_modules.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Initialize your project

Navigate to your target React/Next.js/Vite project directory and initialize your Flutter component mapping config:

npx react-flutter-components init

This command starts an interactive CLI asking you:

  • Whether you are using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • The directory path to your global CSS stylesheet (so it can map tailwind classes).
  • Your physical paths and import aliases (like @/components or @/lib/utils) so it can resolve code dependencies cleanly.

📦 Using the CLI

List all available widgets

View the entire catalog of Flutter UI replica widgets and helper modules:

npx react-flutter-components list

Add components

Download components directly into your local folder tree:

# Add a single component
npx react-flutter-components add container

# Add multiple components
npx react-flutter-components add card checkbox-list-tile row

✨ Features

  1. Recursive Dependency Resolution: Adding a widget (e.g. checkbox-list-tile) automatically resolves co-dependencies (e.g. checkbox) and writes them together!
  2. Peer Packages Autoinstall: The CLI scans the widget profile and automatically installs required NPM dependencies (framer-motion, lucide-react, @radix-ui/react-separator, etc.) using your package manager (npm, yarn, pnpm, or bun).
  3. Import Alias Rewriting: Written widgets automatically adapt their utility paths to match your project configuration (e.g. changing @/lib/utils imports to your customized helper aliases).

🛠️ Included UI Components

  • Layout & Flexbox: Container, Card, Row, Column, Gap, Spacer, Expanded, Flexible, Center
  • Form Elements: Checkbox, CheckboxListTile, Switch, Slider, Button
  • Loading & Utility: CircularProgressIndicator, Skeleton, Tooltip, Badge, BadgeCount
