Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Ryze Tello SDK

Node.js SDK for the Ryze Tello Drone.
Provides a fluent Promise-based API for drone commands, live telemetry, and video streaming.

Prerequisites

Your computer must be connected to the Tello's Wi-Fi network (TELLO-XXXXXX). The drone creates its own access point - connect to it like any other Wi-Fi network.

Install

npm install @giwisoft/ryze-tello-sdk

Once connected to the Tello's Wi-Fi:

Telemetry dashboard

Start the telemetry server to view real-time OSD data in your browser:

This opens a live dashboard at http://localhost:3000/telemetry.html with charts for height, speed, temperature, acceleration, and rotation. Data is pushed via WebSocket.

Telemetry forwarders

Optionally forward telemetry to external services. See the dedicated tutorials for setup:

Mock server

Test your code without a physical drone:

npm run mock

Then use the SDK in mock mode:

The mock server echoes commands and responses over WebSocket. Open http://localhost:3000/mockServer.html to watch the traffic.

Video stream

Requires mplayer installed on your system.
