Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Scaffold a TheAuth app in one command.

npm create theauth-app@latest
# or
pnpm create theauth-app
# or
yarn create theauth-app
# or
bunx @glinr/create-theauth-app

You'll be asked for a project directory, a template, and a database driver. The CLI then writes the project, installs deps, and prints the next commands to run.

Database drivers

  • better-sqlite3 (default): local SQLite, zero setup

A working Next.js app with:

  • createKavach already wired in lib/auth.ts
  • Drizzle schema and migrations for the auth tables
  • Sign-in / sign-up routes using the prebuilt React components
  • .env.example with the secrets you need to fill in
