Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Part of the Gram monorepo.

The physical and nutritional analysis module for the Gram recipe language. It takes a structurally compiled recipe (produced by @gram-lang/kitchen) and enriches it with calculated masses, waste yield scaling, and macronutrient estimations based on a provided database.

🏗️ Structure

  • src/index.ts: The main entry point. Orchestrates the enrichment of sections, steps, and shopping lists.
  • src/mass_standardization.ts: Resolves count/volume quantities to grams (g), including yield-scaled purchase weights.
  • src/nutrition.ts: Sums macros and calories per serving.
  • src/metrics.ts: Computes global mass metrics and warning outputs.
  • src/ingredient_db.ts: Handles database lookup maps and validation.
  • src/shopping_aggregation.ts: Aggregates analyzed quantities into the final shopping list.
  • src/diff.ts: Computes semantic diffs between two analyzed recipes.
  • src/schemas.ts: Zod schemas for analyzer options and ingredient database entries.
