Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@guren/cli

v2.28.2

Published

CLI for the Guren framework: scaffolding (make:*, add), migrations, codegen, and the check, audit and gate commands a coding agent runs to verify its work.

Readme

@guren/cli

The CLI for Guren, a Bun-first fullstack TypeScript framework with Laravel-style conventions. Scaffolding, migrations, codegen, and the integrity checks a coding agent runs to verify its own work.

You do not install this package directly. It ships as a dependency of @guren/core, so every Guren app already has it:

bunx create-guren-app my-app

Inside an app, run it with bunx guren. The guren command resolves through the app's local @guren/cli, so it only works from a project directory.

What it does

bunx guren make:feature Post --fields "title:string,body:text" # CRUD scaffold
bunx guren add auth # registration, login, sessions, password flows
bunx guren db:migrate # run pending migrations
bunx guren codegen # regenerate typed routes, pages, and API client
bunx guren gate # every CI stage under one exit code

bunx guren --help lists all commands. The CLI guide documents each one.

Commands for coding agents

These exist so an agent can read the project and check its work instead of guessing:

| Command | Answers | |---------|---------| | guren context | What is in this project? A map with API signatures, models, routes, and pages | | guren context <Entity> | Everything about one entity: model, routes, pages, resource, policy, linked docs | | guren check | Do routes, controllers, and pages agree? Plus doc links, spec freshness, and wiring rules | | guren audit | Which mutating routes have no validation or authorization? Plus raw SQL, secrets, CSRF exemptions | | guren doctor --next | What is misconfigured, and what to do about it | | guren agent:init | Install the agent harness: CLAUDE.md, rules, skills, hooks, .mcp.json |

Subpath exports

| Import | Contents | |--------|----------| | @guren/cli/arch | defineArchRules() for guren.arch.ts architecture boundaries | | @guren/cli/oxlint | Lint rules shipped to scaffolded apps, including guren/await-async-assertion and guren/no-nullish-env-default | | @guren/cli/vite | The route-types Vite plugin |
