Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

memegen

memegen is a meme generator written in NodeJs.

The result from the command will be available in your clipboard, just paste it wherever you want it.

It is also possible to write to a file if that suits you better.

Installation

$ npm i -g @hank-iv/memegen

Usage

$ meme <image url> [options]

Options:
-t, --toptext       The text at the top of the image
-b, --bottomtext    The text at the bottom of the image
-o, --output        Path and filename where a .png image will be saved

Example

$ meme https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/011/976/lumbergh.jpg -t "It would be great" -b "if you used my meme generator"
