Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@haxzie/runta-next

An experimental command line interface for Runta, installed as runta-next.

This is not Runta's official CLI. That one is @runta/runta-cli and it is the complete product. This one is an experiment with a deliberately smaller surface, and it installs under a different name so the two can coexist.

Install

npm install -g @haxzie/runta-next

Or as a standalone binary, with no Node.js required:

curl -fsSL https://runta.haxzie.com/install.sh | sh

Use

runta-next login
runta-next create --name scratch
runta-next list
runta-next exec scratch -- echo hello
runta-next delete scratch

--json on any command gives machine-readable output with a settled shape. Error text is not stable — branch on exit codes.
