Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Portable AI Memory (PAM)

CLI for persistent, portable, model-independent AI memory.

Published package: @helloworlkd/pam-cli.

Installation

npm install -g @helloworlkd/pam-cli

This installs the pam command.

For future global updates, stop any running pam ui or pam server start processes, then run:

npm install -g @helloworlkd/pam-cli@latest

Stopping PAM services first avoids Windows native-file locks during updates.

For automatic project bootstrap:

cd your-project
npm install -D @helloworlkd/pam-cli

Local install creates .ai-memory/. Run pam init after install to choose which agent/IDE integration files to generate.

Quick Start

pam init
pam add -t decision -c "Use SQLite for the local pam index"
pam checkpoint --summary "Finished CLI setup" --fact "PAM stores project memory in .ai-memory" --concept Architecture
pam search "SQLite"
pam server start
