HEY_BIBLE_API_KEY=your_key node dist/index.jsReleasing
Releases are automated via GitHub Actions. When you push a version tag, the workflow will:
- Create a GitHub release with auto-generated release notes
- Publish the package to npm with the version from the tag
The package.json version doesn't need to be updated manually — the CI extracts the version from the git tag and sets it in the build before publishing.
# 1. Commit your changes
git add .
git commit -m "feat: description of changes"
# 2. Tag with the new version
git tag v1.1.0
# 3. Push the commit and tag
git push origin main --tagsThe workflow handles the rest. You'll need an NPM_TOKEN secret configured in the repository settings.
