Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Image, video, music, speech, search, vision, and quota via MiniMax — installed with one command into OpenCode.

Install

npx -y @hmanlab/hl-plugins install mmx

Or install the CLI globally first:

npm install -g @hmanlab/hl-plugins
hl-plugins install mmx

What it does

Adds seven multimodal tools to your OpenCode session:

  • mmx_image — generate images
  • mmx_speech — text-to-speech
  • mmx_video — generate videos
  • mmx_music — generate music
  • mmx_search — web search
  • mmx_vision — analyze images
  • mmx_quota — check token plan usage

Requirements

  • mmx-cli — installed automatically
  • MiniMax API key — prompted during install (or set MMX_API_KEY)

Claude Code

For Claude Code, use @hmanlab/mmx-claude instead — same tools, delivered via MCP.
