Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Homebridge plugin to integrate Govee devices into HomeKit

Plugin Information

  • This plugin allows you to view and control your Govee devices within HomeKit. The plugin:
    • supports Govee OpenAPI discovery/state/control when an OpenAPI key is provided
    • requires your Govee credentials for most Cloud/AWS/BLE connections
    • can control certain models locally via LAN control without any Govee credentials
    • may use different connection methods depending on device model and account capabilities

Prerequisites

  • To use this plugin, you will need to already have:
    • Node: latest version of v22, v24 or v26 - any other major version is not supported.
    • Homebridge: v1.6 or above - refer to link for more information and installation instructions.
    • For bluetooth connectivity, it may be necessary to install extra packages on your system, see Bluetooth Control. Bluetooth works best on a Raspberry Pi, and has not been tested on Windows. macOS is newly supported from v11.32.2 and has only been tried on a handful of devices so far - you will need to give the node binary running Homebridge permission under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth, and please do report anything that does not work.
