Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Homebridge plugin to integrate SmartHQ appliances into HomeKit

Plugin Information

  • This plugin allows you to view and control your SmartHQ appliances within HomeKit. The plugin:
    • requires your SmartHQ account credentials to work
    • connects to the SmartHQ cloud to discover and control your appliances

Prerequisites

  • To use this plugin, you will need to already have:
    • Node: latest version of v22 or v24 - any other major version is not supported.
    • Homebridge: v2 - refer to link for more information and installation instructions.

Setup

Features

  • HomeKit Controller notifications are supported for the Opal Ice Maker. To set up, install the HomeKit Controller app and configure notifications for each respective event. Put your HomeKit Controller client secret in the plugin advanced options, and the path associated with each available notification in the Opal device options. Supported events:
    • Ice Bucket Full
    • Production Progress Complete
    • Filter Maintenance Change Alert
    • Descale Needed Alert
    • Add Water Alert
