Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

🚀 Getting started

h-codex MCP server can be integrated with various AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol:

  1. Navigate to Settings → MCP Servers → Add Server
  2. Fill in the server details:

    • Type: STDIO
    • Command: npx

    • Environment Variables: _ LLM_API_KEY: your-llm-api-key _ LLM_BASE_URL: your_llm_base_url_here (default is openai baseurl: https://api.openai.com/v1) _ And any additional database configuration variables

Other MCP Clients

The server uses stdio transport and follows the standard MCP protocol. It can be integrated with any MCP-compatible client.
