Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

HumanizerAI MCP Server

MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for HumanizerAI - giving AI agents like Claude the ability to detect AI-generated content and humanize text.

Features

  • detect_ai - Analyze text to determine if it was written by AI
  • humanize - Transform AI-generated text into natural, human-like content
  • check_credits - Check your remaining credits and API status

Installation

npm install -g @humanizerai/mcp-server

Configuration

1. Get an API Key

  1. Sign up at humanizerai.com
  2. Subscribe to a Pro or Business plan
  3. Go to Settings > API Keys
  4. Create a new API key

2. Configure Claude Desktop

Add to your Claude Desktop configuration file:

3. Restart Claude Desktop

After updating the configuration, restart Claude Desktop to load the MCP server.

Usage

Once configured, you can ask Claude to:

Detect AI Content

"Check if this text was written by AI: [paste text]"

Humanize Text

"Humanize this AI-generated content: [paste text]"

Check Credits

"Check my HumanizerAI credits"

Tools

detect_ai

Analyzes text for AI-generated patterns.

Parameters:

  • text (required): The text to analyze (max 10,000 words)

Returns:

  • Score (0-100, higher = more likely AI)
  • Detailed metrics (perplexity, burstiness, readability, etc.)
  • Verdict (highly_human, likely_human, uncertain, likely_ai, highly_ai)

humanize

Transforms AI-generated text into human-like content.

Parameters:

  • text (required): The text to humanize (max 10,000 words)
  • intensity (optional): "light", "medium" (default), or "aggressive"

Returns:

  • Humanized text
  • Before/after AI scores
  • Credits used and remaining

check_credits

Verifies API key and shows credit status.

Pricing

API access requires a Pro ($19.99/mo) or Business ($49.99/mo) plan.

  • Pro: Up to 3 API keys, 50,000 words/month
  • Business: Up to 10 API keys, 200,000 words/month

AI detection is free and unlimited. Humanization uses credits (1 credit = 1 word).
