Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@infra-tools/aep-embed-sdk

v0.1.0

Published

Framework-agnostic SDK for consuming published Agentic Experience Platform experiences headlessly — fetch a render manifest with an embed key and drive it with your own components.

Readme

@infra-tools/aep-embed-sdk

Consume published Agentic Experience Platform experiences in any external site or portal — headlessly. The SDK fetches a frozen render manifest (the workflow steps, widget names, and branch conditions) for a published experience; your portal renders it with its own components. No platform login, no framework coupling (zero dependencies — works in React, Vue, Svelte, plain DOM, or server-side).

The model

Product owner (Studio) Catalog Your portal
──────────────────────      ───────                       ───────────
approve → PUBLISH → freezes a render manifest → createEmbedClient()
(pins version, mints behind an origin-pinned .getManifest(name)
 an embed key) embed key → render with YOUR components

The platform ships data + control-flow; your portal ships pixels.

Install

npm install @infra-tools/aep-embed-sdk

Usage

import { createEmbedClient, resolveNext, stepById } from '@infra-tools/aep-embed-sdk';

const client = createEmbedClient({
  catalogUrl: 'https://catalog.example.com',
  tenant: 'acme',
  key: 'emb_…', // the public, origin-pinned embed key from `publish`
});

const manifest = await client.getManifest('support-ticket');

// Drive the journey with your own widgets:
let stepId = manifest.workflow?.steps[0]?.id ?? null;
const state = {};
while (stepId) {
  const step = stepById(manifest.workflow!.steps, stepId)!;
  renderYourWidget(step.widget, state); // ← your component, keyed by name
  stepId = resolveNext(step.next, state);       // branch conditions evaluated client-side
}

See examples/react-portal/App.tsx for a full React example.

Security

  • The embed key is read-only, per-publication, origin-pinned, and revocable. It only ever resolves the one published experience it was minted for.
  • The catalog serves a frozen snapshot — draft/unapproved/other-tenant content is unreachable through this endpoint by construction.
  • Browsers send Origin automatically; the catalog enforces it against the publication's allow-list. Server-side callers may pass origin explicitly.

API

  • createEmbedClient(config) → { getManifest(name) } — fetch a published manifest.
  • resolveNext(next, state) / evalWorkflowCondition / isConditionalNext / stepById — walk a workflow's steps and evaluate its branches.
  • Types: PublishedManifest, WorkflowStepJson, ConditionalNext, ManifestWidget, …
  • EmbedError { status, code } — thrown on non-2xx / network failure.
