Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CLI companion for GitLurk Desktop.

Install

npm install -g @involvex/gitlurk-desktop
# or
bun add -g @involvex/gitlurk-desktop

Usage

gitlurk --help
gitlurk --version
gitlurk .                 # open cwd in GitLurk Desktop
gitlurk gh run list       # passthrough to GitHub CLI
gitlurk runs              # shortcut for gh run list
gitlurk git config list --global
gitlurk install-desktop   # download Windows installer from GitHub Releases

# PowerShell tab completion
gitlurk completions powershell | Out-String | Invoke-Expression
# or: gitlurk completions powershell >> $PROFILE

Requires GitHub CLI for gh commands.

Desktop app

The npm package installs the CLI. Install the Windows desktop app with:

gitlurk install-desktop

Or download the MSI/setup from Releases.

Set GITLURK_DESKTOP_EXE if the desktop binary is not on a standard path.
