Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Readme

@ivanmaierg/skills

Install agent skills for Claude Code with a single command.

Installation

npx @ivanmaierg/skills

No configuration required. Skills are installed globally and available in all projects.

What Gets Installed

| Skill | Command | Source | Description | |-------|---------|--------|-------------| | Rams | /rams | rams.ai | Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) & visual consistency review | | React Best Practices | Auto-triggers | vercel-labs/agent-skills | 40+ React/Next.js performance optimization rules | | Web Design Guidelines | Auto-triggers | vercel-labs/agent-skills | 100+ accessibility, performance, and UX rules | | Vercel Deploy | /vercel-deploy | vercel-labs/agent-skills | Deploy to Vercel directly from conversations |

Usage

Rams - Accessibility & Visual Review

# Review current file or project
/rams

# Review specific file
/rams src/components/Button.tsx

# Review multiple files
/rams src/components/*.tsx

Rams checks for:

  • WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance
  • Visual inconsistencies
  • UI polish issues
  • Provides line-by-line fix suggestions with severity ratings

Vercel Skills (Auto-trigger)

These skills activate automatically when you work on relevant tasks:

"Review this component for performance issues"
-> Triggers react-best-practices

"Check accessibility on this form"
-> Triggers web-design-guidelines

"Deploy my app"
-> Triggers vercel-deploy

Manual Installation

If you prefer to install skills individually:

# Rams (accessibility & visual review)
curl -fsSL https://rams.ai/install | bash

# Vercel skills (react, web design, deploy)
npx add-skill vercel-labs/agent-skills

How It Works

This package orchestrates skill installations:

  1. Installs Rams via curl -fsSL https://rams.ai/install | bash
  2. Installs Vercel Agent Skills via npx add-skill vercel-labs/agent-skills -y

Skills are installed to ~/.claude/skills/ (global) or .claude/skills/ (project).

Requirements

  • Node.js >= 18
  • Claude Code CLI installed
  • Internet connection for downloading skills

Troubleshooting

Skills not appearing

Restart Claude Code after installation:

# Exit and restart Claude Code
claude

Permission errors

Ensure you have write access to ~/.claude/:

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills

Curl fails for Rams

Check your internet connection and try manually:

curl -fsSL https://rams.ai/install | bash
