Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Jannchie Icons in Iconify JSON format: one collection per corner radius (sharp, 0–3) and stroke weight (light, regular, bold)

Readme

@jannchie/iconify-json

Jannchie Icons in Iconify JSON format, with one collection for each corner radius and stroke weight (15 in total). The prefix is jannchie, followed by the radius and the weight; radius 2 and weight regular are the defaults and are omitted.

| Radius \ Weight | regular (1.5) | light (1) | bold (2) | |---|---|---|---| | 2 | jannchie | jannchie-light | jannchie-bold | | sharp | jannchie-sharp | jannchie-sharp-light | jannchie-sharp-bold | | 0 | jannchie-r0 | jannchie-r0-light | jannchie-r0-bold | | 1 | jannchie-r1 | jannchie-r1-light | jannchie-r1-bold | | 3 | jannchie-r3 | jannchie-r3-light | jannchie-r3-bold |

Each collection is a file named after its prefix without jannchie- (jannchie itself is icons.json), for example sharp-bold.json. collections.json lists every prefix with its file, radius and weight.

Each collection has categories (English category titles), lastModified and the usual info fields. Icons that look exactly the same in a collection (for example astro-sun and alchemy-gold) are stored once and the other names are aliases of it, so every icon name still works. Like the @iconify-json/* packages, the package root exports the default collection, its info and metadata:

import { icons, info, metadata } from '@jannchie/iconify-json'
// icons: the jannchie collection (icons.json), info: info.json, metadata: metadata.json ({ categories })
pnpm add -D @jannchie/iconify-json

UnoCSS (preset-icons):

// uno.config.js
import { defineConfig, presetIcons } from 'unocss'

export default defineConfig({
  presets: [
    presetIcons({
      collections: {
        'jannchie': () => import('@jannchie/iconify-json/icons.json').then(m => m.default),
        'jannchie-sharp-bold': () => import('@jannchie/iconify-json/sharp-bold.json').then(m => m.default),
      },
    }),
  ],
})
<span class="i-jannchie-folder-plus" />
<span class="i-jannchie-sharp-bold-folder-plus" />

For other corner radii, sharp corners, duo-tone colors or pixel hinting, use @jannchie/icons.
