Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Fastcsv

CSV Converter Library to Array for Node.js You will be able to parse any csv file to get in a array, at parsing moment this will check data types in columns and rows.

main features:

  • less costs of memory
  • fast data types validations.
  • get Csv rows from a specific URL.

Usage/Examples

// using a filesystem path
const filepath = "YOURPATH/file.csv";
const fastCsv = await FastCsvParse({ filepath });

// using a url file
// this will download the file to be parsed once finished
const url =

Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/jcdesignweb/fastcsv.git

Go to the project directory

  cd fastcsv

Install dependencies

  npm install

Run tests

  npm test

Performance metrics

1M rows in 957ms without filters validations

1M rows in 4000ms with filters validations
