Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

cfgu-next

cfgu-next is the maintained jr200-labs fork of Configu: tooling for managing software configuration data such as environment variables, secrets, and feature flags.

It is published to npm as @jr200-labs/cfgu-next.

pnpm dlx @jr200-labs/cfgu-next

After installation, run cfgu-next --help.

Fork status

This repository was forked from configu/configu on 22-June-2026. It retains the upstream project history and is licensed under Apache-2.0.

The fork adds:

  • SOPS support
  • YAML configuration support

The intent is to keep dependencies current and publish maintained releases of @jr200-labs/cfgu-next to npm.
